To Place a call to your aircraft:

1. Non-SKYLOOK Subscribers:

To place a direct-dial up call to a non-SKYLOOK aircraft:

Using your aircraft flight plan, select the Ground Station that is most likely in range of the aircraft. If the aircraft is between stations use the station that it is flying towards.

Call the telephone number for that AGRAS Ground Station (you must use a Touch-Tone* telephone).

When the AGRAS Ground Station answers your call, you will hear a dial tone.

Just Touch-Tone* the aircraft's telephone number (the first ten digits of the Flitefone's AGRAS number (402-931-XXXX).

If the aircraft receives the up call signal, you will hear a ring-back tone where the Flitefone is ringing.

When no ring-back tone occurs, you will hear three beeps (three up call attempts) before the AGRAS station abandons your call

You would then need to try again at a later time or attempt to place the call through a different station.

2. SKYLOOK Subscribers:

To Place a direct-dial up call to a SkyLook subscriber aircraft:

Dial 1-800-SKYLOOK (1-800-759-5665) and follow the instructions.

The system searches all SkyLook ground stations for the aircraft and delivers the call.

Note: The aircraft you are trying to call must be a SkyLook subscriber for option 2 to work. For information: (800) 759-5998

There are currently 74 direct-dial AGRAS ground stations throughout the US and Canada.

Below are instructions for programming or de-programming your AGRAS phone number into your Flitefone:

EXAMPLE ONLY--DO NOT PROGRAM THIS NUMBER INTO YOUR PHONE, AS IT WILL NOT WORK.

Apply power to the Flitefone

First Deprogram the phone (see instructions below)

Then dial 76# (Note you will hear an "enter" tone)

Enter the 18 digit AGRAS number followed by the # sign

If the AGRAS number matches the AGRAS number stored in the memory, 18 tones will be played back. (Some Flitefone's will display the AGRAS number)

Note: If the entered AGRAS number does not match the AGRAS number stored in the memory, the "enter" tone will sound and the AGRAS number must be dialed in again followed by the # sign.

***PLEASE NOTE***

The process to deprogram your number from the telephone is the same as described above except eighteen zeroes are programmed into the telephone instead of the eighteen-digit AGRAS number. It is your responsibility to deprogram the telephone when selling your aircraft. This will prevent your company from being charged for the new owners telephone calls.
