Conversion and Training

While MACC’s experts work on an efficient conversion plan for your company, your front-line employees are provided an opportunity to get familiar with MACC software at our acclaimed Jump Start Training sessions. Conducted at MACC University near our headquarters in Blair, Nebraska, MACC’s Jump Start training provides students with a state-of-the-art teaching environment and hands-on training during a two-day course.

The installation and on-site training phase of the move to MACC's Customer Master Billing and Customer Care system represents a critical juncture for our clients. We’re well aware that the process must be well-planned and efficiently integrated into the client’s business cycle. During the final installation phase, office personnel are shown general procedures, allowing them to enter critical operational information into Customer Master during the training week. Meanwhile, the trainer supervises this data migration and instructs users on the finer points of managing service orders, trouble tickets, account payments and other account- and company-related information along the way. The trainer answers real-world questions from the office staff during this process, helping them to simultaneously learn the system and prepare the company’s data for daily operations with Customer Master.

For Accounting Master, MACC offers the same expert data migration, installation and training services by our experienced Accounting Master professionals. We'll also help you integrate Customer Master and Accounting Master for seamless preparation of monthly journal entries for billing and cash receipts.

From Training to Support

We don’t cut you loose once implementation and training are over. On the contrary, you could say that, in contrast to other providers, this is the point when MACC’s service commitment goes into high gear.

Before a single bill goes out, the MACC Bill Review team conducts a painstaking review of your finished subscriber statements and works with MACC personnel and you to iron out any possible issues. This team plays to win – they get it right before your customers get a bill.

That’s why MACC provides not only expert software support and technical support; we also provide ongoing training services for your key personnel. At MACC University we offer year- round training opportunities for advanced applications and for introductory training of new personnel. We also provide Web-based upgrade training, an easy-to-use and valuable tool in getting quickly up to speed on software enhancements available at the time of upgrade.
