Wireless Calling Plans
MACC offers complete support for a wide array of wireless calling
plans, backed up by robust reporting and the flexibility you demand in a
wireless billing partner.
Customer Care/Account Management
As with all services, wireless service is managed under the billing
account with MACC's Customer Master software. Customer Master also tracks
and helps manage wireless handsets and serial numbers, as well as assigned
rate plans.
Plan Types
MACC offers a continuum of wireless calling plans based on client needs
and trends in the industry. Shared plans among multiple users under a
single account are also supported. Basic "block of time" plans can be
customized for custom combinations of Anytime minutes,
Peak Minutes, Off-Peak Minutes and Weekend Minutes. Any of these
plans can be administered as shared plans as well.
Airtime rate periods are defined by the Client. Each Airtime rate
period can have its own per-minute rate for minutes used within that
Airtime rate period (those over the pre-defined Plans included minutes).
Per-minute rates can be the same for each calling plan or plan-defined.
Holidays, toll rates, and toll periods are also user-defined by client.
MACC currently supports four defined Plan Areas:
- Home – (example: EAS routes) (402-533, 402-426, 402-478, 402-468,
402-427)
- Local – (example: State Wide calling - all calls originating within
Nebraska)
- Regional – (example: States of Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri,
South Dakota, Wyoming and Colorado)
- National – (example: All States including Alaska and Hawaii)
Each Area may have up to 99 different routes.
Reporting Like all
services, Wireless plans are supported from the back end by robust
reporting from Bill Master, our billing engine. Additionally, Wireless
billing features a complete set of specialty reports for plan-based
billing, including a dedicated Guide to Wireless Reports supplement to our published
Guide to Bill Master Reports. |
