Wireless Calling Plan Features

Each basic calling plan may be customized by the client to include one or more special features. The client controls the number of additional minutes offered with each feature as well as the per-minute rate to be applied for any feature that requires a rate. By using basic plans and unique features as building blocks, MACC clients can create a very competitive and leading edge product for their wireless customers.

Available plan features include:

Call Detail

Always print all call detail
Print on call detail when there charges associated with the call
Do not print call detail

Mobile-to-Mobile – Free calling between all wireless customers that are current subscribers of the company. (Additional minutes can be limited or unlimited)

Network-to-Network – Free calling between wireless customers sharing a calling plan.
(Additional minutes can be limited or unlimited)

Inner Circle Calling – Free calling between all networks (telephone and cellular) within an Account.
(Additional minutes can be limited or unlimited)

Company Wide Calling – Free calling between all telephone and cellular within a company.
(Additional minutes can be limited or unlimited)

First Incoming Minute Free – Wireless customers receive the first minute of an incoming call free. Any additional minutes would be applied against the plan included minutes.

Incoming Minutes – This option gives incoming calls free to the customer. These minutes are not applied against plan included minutes. They are additional free minutes.

Overage Protection – Buy an additional block of time for a flat fee. Minutes not used each month are not carried over. We also have the ability to charge a special overage per minute rate if a network uses all of the additional minute and still have local billable air.

Plain and Simple (Fair and Flexible) – Buy additional blocks of time for a flat fee. The number of minutes that a block contains, as well as the price for each unit is determined by the client company.

Discount of Local Billable Air – Plan can be set-up to offer a discount percent for local billable airtime (non-specialty minutes). The discount percent is given on each individual call, not on the total airtime charges.

Local Toll Re-rated – plans can be set up to receive NO toll charges as long as the call originated and/or terminated within the calling plans area.

Free – drop all toll charges on non-roaming calls
Flat rate per minute – charges a set per minute rate on toll charges
Block of time – gives a set number of toll minutes before charging at a set per Minute rate

Roaming Toll Re-rated – plans can be set up to receive NO toll charges as long as the call originated and/or terminated within the calling plans area.

Free – drop all toll charges on roaming calls
Flat rate per minute – charges a set per minute rate on toll charges
Block of time – gives a set number of toll minutes before charging at a set per Minute rate

Roaming Re-rated

Air re-rated - charges a set per minute airtime rate for all roaming air minutes
Toll re-rated – charges a set per minute toll rate for all roaming toll minutes
Air and Toll combined into 1 flat rate per minute – drops all air and toll charges on a roaming call and re-rates the air and toll as one item with one set per minute rate.

Carry Over Minutes (The ability to carry over unused minutes)

Carry over with a set limit of minutes to carry
Carry over for a set number of months

Increment Rating – Rate in second increments after plan included minutes are used. Airtime minutes are round using whole minutes until all plan included minutes have been used (billable), after that airtime is figured using the duration of the call and rounding the second up to the next increment. Increments done in 30 second, 15 second, 10 second, and 06 second intervals.

Define Your Own OFF-PEAK Air-Time Period – This feature allows you the ability to have your customers define their own off-peak period. This gives flexibility to your customers and allows them to customize their own calling plan with air-time time frames that fit their calling needs.

Define Your Own WEEKEND Air-Time Period – This feature allows you the ability to have your customers define their own weekend period. This gives flexibility to your customers and allows them to customize their own calling plan with air-time time frames that fit their lifestyle.

Voice Mail Retrieval – Allows customer to call their voice mail and listen to their messages without using any of their plan minutes
