MACC gets the job done right
“There are many companies providing billing software today, but probably very few of them can match the expertise and commitment of the MACC team in not only getting the job done, but getting it right. MACC’s support staff is always available to respond to questions or concerns.”

New features and products from MACC for Spring 2012
MACC is continually adding new features to our existing products and developing new services to meet the evolving needs of the telecommunications industry. Below are brief summaries on several of our latest efforts. For more information, please contact your National Sales Representative or Client Relations Manager.

Customer Master 7.5 enhancements

E-mailing a Subscriber’s Bill
MACC now provides you with the ability to e-mail a PDF of a subscriber’s bill. Customer Master’s Web menu provides a link to an external (and secure) web billing site, allowing you to establish the parameters for the standard e-mail form your company will distribute. You can designate an account to receive an e-mailed bill by selecting an e-mail option from the Bill Medium drop-down field on the Account screen of Service Order.

Recent Activity
A new Recent Activity sidebar has been added to the Customer Master desktop. This sidebar displays any recent account activity within Inquiry, Service Orders and/or Trouble Tickets, giving you a single view of these activities. The sidebar can be collapsed and reopened, and you can choose to view Inquiry, Service Order or Trouble activity through the use of associated checkboxes.

Signature Pad
MACC now offers an option interface to an electronic signature pad, allowing you to electronically record a customer signature and place it in the following sections of Customer Master:
Coins
Contracts, Service Order and Trouble Ticket. If the interface is engaged, then an Electronic Signature button will be available on each of these screens, allowing you to attach an “eSignature” to these electronic documents.

Accounting Master 6.5 enhancements

1099 Interface with WIRE Software
The 1099 export for Winfiler Plus has been updated to use Nelco’s WIRE tax form interface. This tax form interface is launched from within Accounting Master through the Tools menu giving you the ability to print the forms without exporting a file from Accounting Master and importing it into Winfiler Plus for creation of 1099 forms and the associated Form 1096. This will also be the location from which 1099’s for Capital Credits and Stock Dividends will be created.

Associate Attachments with an AR Invoice
An ‘AR Attachments’ icon is now available on the menu bar of the AR Invoice screen. Clicking on this icon will open up an ‘Attach Document’ screen, which will allow you to associate a document with the selected AR Invoice. If a document is attached to the selected Invoice, the border of the attachments icon will appear in red.

Import Journal Entries from Excel
A file import tool has been created to allow for the importing of journal entries from a comma separated file. This import tool will allow you to take journal entries that have been created in an Excel spreadsheet and saved as a .csv file and load them into the Journal Entry. The file format and required data fields will be available within the help files related to the Journal Entry File Import.
