MACC's Latest CABS Product Assures
Revenue and Saves Time
(BLAIR, NE - Thursday, September 13, 2007) - Mid America Computer
Corp. (MACC), a leading billing solutions provider to the
telecommunications industry, has recently introduced
AccessMart. This
innovative service is a web-based access usage and revenue assurance
tool that allows MACC’s clients to easily track
carrier access billing
system (CABS) trends.
AccessMart allows companies to track, monitor, and create reports on
CABS revenue and usage based on a wide variety of criteria. There is no
extensive training required as all of the reports are created and
accessed through an easy to use web portal. AccessMart, which is
available for all of MACC’s
CABS customers at no additional charge,
makes manually maintained spreadsheets unnecessary as all of the reports
it generates can easily be exported to Microsoft® Excel.

There are four types of standard CABS reports which are available
through AccessMart. These consist of revenue and usage reports, CABS
invoice recap reports, PARS reports, and billing and collection charges
reports. While Ellis expects companies to use all four available
reports, she said the first two, revenue and usage reports and CABS
invoice recap reports, will be especially important for most companies.
Revenue and usage reports present a single, one-line total amount for
access revenue, minutes of use, and messages. The invoice recap reports
illustrate the revenue and charge details from each company’s CABS
invoices. Access charges, billing and collection charges, and PARS
revenues are also included in these reports.
Besides offering companies a powerful overview of their CABS usage and
revenue, AccessMart also makes it easy to save report settings for use
in the future. Users can select criteria to meet their company’s needs
and then save the settings and a user-defined report name as a template
for future use. These customized reports can then be run each month as
easily as standard reports.
