KANSAS INDEPENDENT TELECOMUNICATIONS, LLC (KIT) CHOOSES MID AMERICA COMPUTER CORP. FOR MULTI-CYCLE INTERNET BILLING AND PROVISIONING

(BLAIR, NE - April 12, 2004) - Mid America Computer Corp. (MACC), a leading billing solutions company, announced today that Kansas Independent Telecommunications has successfully completed its first month of multiple-cycle billing in partnership with MACC. This accomplishment follows MACC’s development of a custom Internet provisioning solution for KIT, which will allow KIT’s subscribers to initiate Internet service and manage their account features online.

KIT chose MACC over their current vendor for its commitment to providing a multi-cycle billing solution, enhanced revenue control and support for Web-based self-care managed through Customer Master, MACC’s flagship billing and customer care software.

“This is MACC’s first experience processing 28 separate bill cycles within a single month, and we’re very pleased it has gone so smoothly for our client,” said Rod Christenson, MACC President. “KIT’s large subscriber base and provisioning needs represent a significant implementation effort without the added complexity of supporting multiple bill cycles. KIT provides Internet service to over 30,000 customers monthly, with plans to expand into telephone service before the end of 2005.
