Clarence Telephone Company, Inc. has
selected MACC for its BSS/OSS needs
(Blair, NE – January 11, 2010) Clarence Telephone Company,
Inc. selected Mid America Computer Corporation (MACC) to provide a
BSS/OSS solution
along with financial
software and an online payment system. The company is based in
Clarence, Iowa and provides voice, video, data, and wireless services to
its community and the surrounding rural areas.
“Clarence Telephone Company is a progressive company with great
leadership,” said Craig Aman, MACC’s President. “The company was looking
for a flexible BSS/OSS solution with the ability to easily create and
manage bundled service packages. MACC’s solutions are designed with the
need for service bundling in mind so it was a great fit both companies.”
Customer Master
is the BSS/OSS solution from MACC which will be used by Clarence
Telephone Company. The program offers the company a Windows®-based
billing solution which has the flexibility and functionality needed by
today’s telecommunications companies.
Curtis Eldred, Clarence Telephone Company’s General Manager, recognized
the potential Customer Master and other MACC solutions had for his
company.
“MACC had all of the solutions we were looking for in a new billing
system,” he said.
In addition to Customer Master’s ability to manage bundled service
packages, Eldred said the program’s scheduling function will be very
beneficial. Using Customer Master, managers can dispatch work to their
technicians, view calendars for the work groups in their companies, and
conduct a wide variety of other scheduling activities.
“MACC’s online bill payment system was really easy to implement on our
web site and I really like their ability to send text messages to notify
customers their bills are ready.”
Clarence Telephone Company’s conversion to MACC was completed in
December of 2009.
