MACC'S KATHY REA EARNS THE ATA ASSOCIATE MEMBER OF THE YEAR AWARD
(Blair, NE – June 7, 2006) Mid America
Computer Corporation’s (MACC) National Sales Representative for the west
coast, Kathy Rea, was recently named the Associate Member of the Year by
the Alaska Telephone Association (ATA). The award is given to associate
members who provide exemplary service to the organization and its
members.
Joyce Losnegard, Administrative Assistant for the ATA, said Kathy has
always been very supportive of the organization as she currently serves
on the seminars committee and previously held a position on the
associate member committee for four years. At the organization’s annual
showcase, she said Kathy always brings great material and does a great
job decorating her booth.
“Because of all these factors, our board of directors and the ATA staff
thought Kathy exceeded the criteria for going above the and beyond the
call of duty,” Losnegard said.
Rea said this is a tremendous honor for her as she has a close
relationship with MACC’s customers in Alaska and other members of the
ATA.
“This award is so special to me because I count so many members of the
ATA as friends,” she said. “I really appreciate this honor and look
forward to continuing my service to Alaska’s telecommunication
industry.”
Rea has worked for MACC since 1996. She serves MACC’s clients in Alaska
and on the west coast from her home office in Oregon. MACC has been
providing billing and accounting solutions to the rural telecom industry
for more than 30 years.
