Steelville Telephone Selects MACC’s
Customer Master and CABS Processing
(Blair, NE – November 20, 2008) Steelville Telephone has
selected Mid America Computer Corporation (MACC) to meet its need for a
BSS/OSS solution and CABS processing. The Steelville, Missouri-based
incumbent telephone company currently serves more than 4,500 access
lines along with offering long distance service and Internet access.

MACC’s industry leading BSS/OSS,
Customer Master, will be used by
Steelville Telephone for billing and customer care applications. The program
offers the company a Windows®-based billing solution which has the
flexibility and functionality needed by today’s telecommunications
companies. Customer Master allows companies to offer fully-convergent
bills, convenient bundled packages, and features a wide variety of
customizable reports. The program also features open architecture that
allows for easy integration with other software and hardware utilized by
the telecommunications industry.
MACC’s CABS processing service features unmatched revenue
assurance tools, such as
AccessMart. This web-based tool
allows companies to easily track CABS usage and revenue trends
via an on-line portal. Both short-term and long-term trends can be
analyzed to ensure that companies receive the carrier access revenue
they are due. This service makes the manual record keeping of CABS data
unnecessary and frees up staff time for other objectives.
Steelville Telephone’s conversion to MACC is scheduled to occur during the
spring of 2009.
