MACC IS SET TO EXPAND ITS SUITE OF PRODUCTS

(BLAIR, NE - September 11, 2006) -  The Mid America Computer Corporation (MACC) is set to launch three new features for its suite of software products that meet the latest needs of the independent telecom industry. These new features will help telecom companies address the increasing importance of on-line billing and the need for improved marketing efforts to the end-user.

MACC’s new features consist of an improved Electronic Bill Payment and Presentation (EBPP) system and enhancements to add even greater marketing functionality to the company’s software.

“We’ve heard from our customers that they need a flexible and affordable on-line billing solution,” said Rod Christenson, MACC’s President. “We’ve also witnessed the growing importance of marketing efforts for our customers. It’s with this information in mind that we developed these features for use with our existing software.”

MACC’s new EBPP system will offer a combination of flexibility and security to the company’s customers. Unlike other EBPP solutions, MACC’s system will allow its clients to only subscribe to a bill presentation service or select the full bill presentation and payment option. The new EBPP system is also easier to implement than the company’s current offering. MACC has already implemented this new service on a limited scale and the feature is now available to all interested telecommunication companies.

To address the increasing importance of marketing to the end-user, MACC is adding additional capabilities to its own software and developing an interface for a popular customer relationship management (CRM) program. Later this fall, the company plans to introduce DataMart for use with its Customer Master© billing software. DataMart will make it easier to create customized reports based on data contained within Customer Master.

The CRM program that MACC is developing an application interface for is Scorecard. Used in combination with Customer Master, this program will allow MACC’s customers to track and sort their end-users through an almost infinite number of product and demographic combinations. The application interface is expected to be completed by year end.
